I deserve more

I watched Deddy Corbuzier’s ‘Hitam Putih’ TV program once, and found a good lesson from it. It was about Deddy’s, the host, personal life. A question he was to answer was about the reason why he quit his job as magician. Just a brief story, Deddy Corbuzier, before being well-paid host of TV shows, used to be famous magician. He earned much from that, i believe, as he had a lot of shows both inside and outside TV studios to perform. But, a couple of years ago, people found no magic shows on TV. It turned out that he quit the job, and start new profession as a host of a TV live talk show. In the later job, still, he makes it. It took no time for him to grab audience’s enthusiasm. His live talk show turns into a hits.

He leaked out his motive of quitting previous job. It’s gonna be a bit long story. Okay! Being an artist is tough. Everyone must keep on updating their ‘X’ factor otherwise new talents will override them. Teddy used to be hegemonic on magic show. But, later, a new name, many call him as Pak Tarno, offers new genre in magic show entertainment. He combines magic show and comedy. Soon, the icon of magic show as previously held by Deddy Corbuzier, fades away. The later become no more dominant.

Deddy, to my view, is type of choleric, who puts high standard of achievement in his life. He is sort of a person who is always in pursue of peak actualisation. He believed he deserve more than just being a magician, a profession that a person like Pak Tarno who never went abroad to learn it like what daddy did, can perform. He believed he deserved more.

Sometimes, we feel that we have more reasons to gain more, to achieve more than those whose less reasons for that. It is about pride. About need of achievement. About determination that we deserve achieving more than those who give less devotion to achieve. And that's just normal.
